ASM Mainuddin Monem is the Managing Director (MD) of the Abdul Monem Limited, one of the largest business conglomerates in Bangladesh with a variety of sectors including construction, education, pharmaceuticals and food products. He also serves as president of the Abdul Monem Complex running an Orphanage, a College, a High School and a School of Religious Education. He is the Managing Director & CEO of Abdul Monem Economic Zone Limited, developer of a private specialized economic zone with the focus to create thousands of jobs through attracting foreign and local investors to set up industries.

Mr. ASM Mainuddin Monem graduated with an MBA from Harvard University Business School in 1996 and, prior to that, graduated Cum Laude with a Bsc degree from Boston University in 1991. Additionally, he obtained a professional degree on Design and Analysis of Experiments from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1994 where he also took several courses as a precursor to his MBA program at Harvard.

Mr. ASM Mainuddin Monem frequently speaks at conferences of national, regional and international importance and has served on several panels and task force committees to address national and regional issues. He also serves on several professional boards including, but not limited to, the Secretary for International Affairs, Asia-Pacific Economic Council (APEC), Member of the Bangladesh Association of Banks and an Executive Member of the National Committee of SHUJAN (Shushashoner Jonne Nagarik - Citizens for Good Governance).
