He served as president of American Chamber of Commerce (Am Cham) and Foreign Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICC) and Director of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Bangladesh Chapter. He is actively involved in social work starting from his youth. He also became the president of Dhaka based Rotaract Club.
