He obtained his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College followed by his PhD in anesthesiology & pain medicine from Kyushu University, Japan in 1993. In his long medical career, he has published more than 40 scientific publications in domestic & international journals.

  • TRANSFERING/DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGY IN BANGLADESH He has trained in Japan with a Ph.D. in Anesthesiology (equivalent to MD in Anesthesiology of Bangladesh) in March 1993, Faculty of Medicine, Kyushu University, Japan and introduced pain management treatment in the country. Also trained in modern technique of Anesthesiology, ICU and PAIN CLINIC (Management of chronic and acute pain) from Japan.

  • TRANSFERING/DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE IN BANGLADESH He was pioneer in establishing Pain Management Department and established the first Pain Clinic in Bangladesh at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and in Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH) in 1993. Also organized the Pain Medicine unit in BSMMU which consists of outdoor, indoor, therapy room and procedure day.

  • TRANSFERING/DEVELOPING SKILL IN BANGLADESH He has performed more than 70,000 invasive techniques and trained several Anesthesiologist and Pain Clinician and still continue to train skilled doctors. Published more than 40 scientific papers in local and international journals and also presented scientific papers.
