BRIEF ON PROFESSION: Currently working as Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank having 33+ years of experience as Central Banker. Throughout the central banking career, he served efficiently & honestly in different departments and offices at different capacities. His chequered career includes working as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Bank and leading different core departments like Banking Regulation & Policy Department, Foreign Exchange Policy Department, Foreign Exchange Investment Department, Foreign Exchange Inspection Department, Department of Banking Inspection, Agriculture Credit Department, Human Resources Department, Payment System Department , Accounts & Budgeting Department, Governor Secretariat and serves as Faculty Member in Bangladesh Bank Training Academy as well as Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (Deputation). In addition, he served as the Head of Chittagong Office of Bangladesh Bank for around two years. He has been contributing with reputation as an observer on the Board of Directors of state-owned commercial banks (currently in Janata Bank Ltd). He attended in different foreign Training/Seminar/Workshop/Negotiation meeting/Govt. programs in different countries like England, Canada, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and UAE. As an important member of the delegate from Bangladesh he contributed in the negotiation meeting with Islami Development Bank in KSA on BPC financing in 2020 as well as Correspondence banking relation between Russian Federation and Bangladesh in Moscow in 2019.
