Ms. Nuzhat Anwar is the Acting Country Manager for Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal, International Finance Corporation (IFC). She is responsible for business development, government relations and Implementation of the IFC Bangladesh Strategy.

Prior to her current role, she was the Financial Institutions Head, Citibank NA Bangladesh, where she functioned as the Business Credit Officer and was responsible for business strategy, coverage and performance of the portfolio as well as the capital and credit deployed. During her 16 years with Citibank NA, she worked in different capacities from product to sales to relationship management. Additionally, she was the lead for Investment and Intermediaries business in Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh and also responsible for capital market infrastructural businesses.

Nuzhat Anwar has expertise on various topics such as Capital Management, Treasury/Liquidity, Transaction Services as well as Portfolio Optimization and Market Advocacy for right kind of change. She has been significantly involved in number of highly sensitive client situations and is experienced in Risk Management. Nuzhat has master's in commerce (Major in Finance) from Dhaka University, Bangladesh.
