Wan Chee Foong is the Regional CEO of Middle East South Asia (MESA) and the Head Group Business Development. He also sits on the Senior Management Council of PSA International.

As the Regional CEO of MESA, he bears overall responsibility and accountability for PSA Group's portfolio of operating terminals, investments and expansion in MESA. In his portfolio covering Group Business Development, Chee Foong is responsible for identifying and developing new port, logistics and digital business opportunities around the world. He supports the Group in its long-term global expansion strategies, providing leadership in scoping, strategising, evaluating and structuring potential deals for both public tenders and acquisitions.

Prior to assuming the Regional CEO of MESA, in addition as Head of Group Business Development, Chee Foong also led in the area of Group Commercial Development. Chee Foong focused on co-ordinating the PSA Group's commercial strategies in support of its activities with key global shipping lines as their developments will, among other factors, influence the organisation's overall growth.

Chee Foong joined PSA in 2012, bringing with him a broad range of business development, investment and restructuring experience in transport, as well as in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Prior to PSA, Chee Foong spent more than eight years in Temasek Holdings, an Asia investment firm headquartered in Singapore. Chee Foong focused on investments in the transportation sector, and led teams in the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, restructuring and nurturing of investee companies. His last appointment with Temasek was as Director for SeaTown Holdings, a USD3bn global investment fund wholly owned by Temasek. Chee Foong led the establishment of SeaTown's investment platform, and in addition, also managed a portfolio of public and private investments in the transportation, consumer, soft commodities and oil services sectors.

Chee Foong had a stint at Diageo PLC in the Asia-Pacific regional headquarters. In the early years of his career, he was with Singapore Airlines (SIA) holding various management positions in the commercial technology, sales & marketing and internal audit divisions.

Chee Foong was awarded the Singapore Airlines Scholarship and graduated from Stanford University.

Chee Foong is also the Chairman of SHINE Children and Youth Services, a registered charity serving vulnerable children, youth and their families in Singapore.

In addition, Chee Foong sits on the Advisory Board of The Logistics Institute Asia-Pacific - National University of Singapore; he is also a committee member of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Infrastructure Committee and the SBF Latin American Business Group.
